Angela Marie has been recognized with multiple awards for creative writing--from early scholarships for her short fiction to collegiate honors for her poetry.

Robot & Dog is her debut full-length novel of genre-bending fiction: part urban fantasy, part fictionalized memoir, and entirely a story of the author's own spiritual awakening and the oneness of all creation.

“I don’t write in a single style — I write in truths. My work moves between voices, because that’s what real life does. Sometimes it’s raw, jagged, obsessive, like in Killing Cousins — the part of me that doesn’t edit out the chaos. And sometimes it’s lighter, allegorical, almost fable-like, like in Robot and Dog — the part of me that processes pain through tenderness and humor. Both are me, just different facets. My strength as a writer is refusing the box: I put the masks on the page when they’re useful, and I rip them off when they’re not. What connects all of it is honesty — even when it’s messy, even when it worries people. I don’t want safe. I want real.” --Angela

Dandilion

I am far too long-winded, and far, far too hopeful for this world-

Maybe I'm not supposed to be kept or loved for long.

But instead betrothed to float like a wished-upon dandelion seed, from here to there, wherever needed.

Not to land, but simply to spread hope.

An oft bittersweet task

Absorbing and transporting this hope

Providing fuel and fire for wishes and dreams yet unrealized, giving pieces of myself seed by seed

Until only a stem remains.

Those seeds blown through the world, growing and becoming more than could be dreamed without this lonesome ambrosial wind.

Victual hope for the gods, for those breathless dreams.

To see dead seeds buried, rising strong to bloom again.

And with quiet brevity of months and years, without fanfare or applause.

To fold into the dust.

A withered stem.

Nothing remaining of me but vague and fond memories in those who have changed.

I think I am ok with that.”

Robot and Dog

A Memoir of Awakening and Fur

&

The True-ish Story of the Interactions between

my Dog and my Robotic Vacuum Cleaner

A memoir of awakening disguised as a talking-dog story--Robot & Dog is one girl's journey through disability and healing--told through the eyes of a godlike dog, a sentient vacuum learning to love, and a young queer man seeking freedom and family in a broken world.

This Is My Voice
The gritty Boroughs-esque 1st person urban fantasy prequel to Robot & Dog:
The full, ugly, whole true story of the author's Spiritual Awakening from birth to Robot & Dog's writing.

The Map
Part Two of This Is My Voice, The Map is a detailed explanation of the mechanics of the universe, the path we all are secretly walking, and real-life applications of various spiritual practices to assist in waking the masses, from the point-of-view of one of the many who has walked the spiral and opened the soul gates awake. It is a first person account of the spiral, as I have walked it, both unaware and now, aware.

Kissing Killing Cousins

Killing Cousins is a true-crime horror novel that blurs fact and fiction. Told across multiple timelines the author explores many possible endings to a real-life kidnapping, allowing trauma to unravel conspiracy and attempted murder rooted in jealousy and obsession--where a cousin's twisted love leads to deadly consequences.

The 100 Year Marriage
The 100 Year Marriage is a sweeping, romanticized love story inspired by the lives of the authors grandparents. Spanning from the 1930's to the 2030's, it traces a timeless bond through decades of change, heartbreak, and devotion. Similar to Mark Z. Danielewski's Only Revolutions, it's an epic tale of love with purpose so deep it outlives eras and rewrites what it means to be soulbound.
